Give Local Campaign

This campaign began on May 15th, and runs through July 31st. This fundraising event is a summer-long campaign to help support nonprofit agencies in the Wabasha Kellogg area. The campaign provides these agencies with continued, sustainable support. WKACF ensures that 100% of your contributions go directly to the agency of your choice.

From lost revenues, staff shortages, and increased demand for services beyond what agencies are able to provide, this fundraising campaign allows community members to give from home to empower agencies, such as Elder Network, to continue serving seniors and their caregivers in their home. At this hectic time in our country, it is important that we provide for our friends and neighbors who are struggling.

How This Campaign Changes Lives:

Your donation makes a definite difference. Would you like to learn more? As you can see, this is one small sample of how your contribution changes lives.

A wife who was struggling to take care of her quadriplegic husband, found support through working with Elder Network. The wife also ran a foster home for disadvantaged adults. The wife’s continuous caregiving duties became overwhelming and were taking a toll on her mental and physical health, as well as that of her husband. With support of generous donors, such as through this campaign, Elder Network became involved and provided assistance with her caregiving. This has allowed her to take better care of herself and her husband. The couple is so grateful to have the donors' support, as well as that of Elder Network to give them a better quality of life and allow them to continue to live in their home.

This is another example of how your donation can help change lives and keep our community a great place. Wabasha Kellogg area individuals will be receiving a Local Giving Donation Form in your mailbox at the end of the month. Please choose to help us continue to change lives and keep our community a great place to live, work and play.
