Current Giving Local Opportunities

Consider making a donation to the Wabasha Kellogg Area Community Foundation (WKACF), which is currently accepting donations for participating organizations, including Elder Network.
There are a few ways to donate:

Elder Network created Connection Café as a welcoming and supportive space for older adults experiencing memory concerns who were seeking meaningful social connection. Since its beginning, the program has grown to include all older adults—and community members—who are looking for companionship, engagement, and a sense of belonging.
Each 90‑minute Connection Café gathering offers enriching and enjoyable experiences designed to foster connection and well‑being. Activities include guest speakers, music therapy, forest bathing, crafts, bingo, trivia, and a variety of seasonal and creative activities. These gatherings provide not only fun, but also friendship, purpose, and community.
Participants eagerly look forward to each Connection Café, where laughter, learning, and connection are shared. Your generous Local Giving Donations make these gatherings possible and help sustain Connection Café along with the many other vital programs provided by Elder Network—strengthening our community and enriching the lives of older adults.
Those 55 and better and their caregivers have the opportunity to thrive and lead rewarding lives.
